Short Bio

I was born in 1979 and grew up in Uichteritz (Saxony-Anhalt), Germany. I graduaded from high school in 1998 and joined military service. 1999 I moved to Magdeburg and started studying Computational Visualistics at University of Magdeburg. From the beginning my main interests were computer graphics and visualization. In summer 2000 I started working at the company Tarakos where I could gather practical experience in these fields. I graduated as Engineer of Computational Visualistics in 2006 and continued working at Tarakos. In december 2006 I moved to Bremen and became scientific assistant at MeVis Research, which was transformed into Fraunhofer MEVIS in january 2009.
