Short Bio 
Ola Friman joined the Fraunhofer MEVIS Institute for Medical Image Computing in 2007, where he is now heading the image processing developments. Dr. Friman received an MSc (1999) in Electrical Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden, and a PhD (2003) in medical image processing from Linköping Institute of Technology, Sweden. Prior to joining Fraunhofer MEVIS, Dr. Friman was at the Surgical Planning Laboratory, Harvard Medical School as well as at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
