Me, briefly,

Christian Hansen

born 1980 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany I grew up close to Frankfurt in Neu-Anspach. I graduated from high school in 1999 with advanced courses in mathematics and computer science. After finishing civil service in 2000 I moved to Magdeburg, Germany and studied Computational Visualistics with elective courses in medicine. During my years of study I was student research assistant at the Department for Simulation and Graphics, University of Magdeburg (10/2003-6/2004), student trainee at the Artificial Intelligence Information Analysis Laboratory, Aristotle University Thessaloniki, Greece (6/2004-3/2005), and diploma student at MeVis Research, Bremen, Germany (7/2005- 4/2006). I graduated as Engineer of Computational Visualistics at University of Magdeburg in 2006 and became scientific assistant at MeVis Research (now Fraunhofer MEVIS). My research interest include intraoperative visualization, medical image processing, and surgeon-computer interaction.
